Ashley
OWNER, PLANNER AND LEAD COORDINATOR
Hi, I'm Ashley, the founder of Whitford Weddings & Events! I am currently in my bridal era as well, counting down to May 2025 for my own destination wedding to marry my wonderful fiancé, Jason. He has been incredibly supportive of me pursuing this exciting new path, especially after seeing how much happiness planning our own wedding has brought me. I’m also a proud dog mom to my sweet boy, Vegas. When I’m not working or planning weddings, you’ll probably find me adventuring outdoors with Jason and Vegas, spending time with friends, writing poetry, or binge-watching the latest season of The Bachelor.

Before starting this business, I built my career as an educator, which sharpened my skills in multitasking, organization, time management, and attention to detail—traits that now serve me well in planning beautiful events. Over the years, I’ve been a bridesmaid and maid of honor in several weddings, always finding myself the go-to person for planning, coordinating, and perfecting the aesthetic details.

I’m truly passionate about helping couples create weddings that reflect their unique love stories and relationships. I live to find theme and design inspiration and take it from concept to reality, enjoying the logistical planning along the way—it truly sparks something in me. I can’t wait to bring that same level of attention, organization, and creativity to your big day!

WHY I STARTED
Whitford Weddings
& EVENTS
Whitford Weddings & Events was born from my personal experience as a bride. During the process of planning my own wedding, I discovered how much I loved every aspect of it. From researching and booking venues and vendors, to creating checklists and schedules, and picking the perfect flowers and décor, I thrived on both the organizational and creative sides of wedding planning. In fact, I often found myself at work thinking, "I wish I could go home and wedding plan!" That’s when I realized—why not make this my work?

I understand firsthand how overwhelming wedding planning can feel, especially in the beginning. There are so many decisions to make, vendors to manage, and details to solidify. But I believe it doesn’t have to be stressful.
