Ashley
OWNER, PLANNER AND LEAD COORDINATOR
Hi! I'm Ashley, the founder of Whitford Weddings & Events! I am a newly married 2025 bride myself. My wonderful husband Jason and I got married in May in New Orleans, LA! He has been incredibly supportive of me pursuing this exciting new path, especially after seeing how much happiness planning our own wedding has brought me. I’m also a proud dog mom to our sweet boy, Vegas. My background and full time career is still in education. I’m currently a fifth grade teacher by school year/ school day and wedding coordinator by summer/ weekend! When I’m not teaching or coordinating weddings, you’ll probably find me adventuring outdoors with Jason and Vegas, spending time with friends, trying the newest happy hour spot, or binge-watching the latest season of The Bachelor.

Before starting this business, my career as an educator sharpened my skills in multitasking, organization, time management, and attention to detail—traits that now serve me well in planning beautiful events and coordinating couples’ wedding days. Over the years, I’ve been a bridesmaid and maid of honor in several weddings, always finding myself the go-to person for planning, coordinating, and perfecting the aesthetic details. All of this led me to start Whitford Weddings and the ride has been fast and beautiful! Year one in business has been busy, full of learning and love.
I’m passionate about relieving stress from couples as they approach the final weeks leading up to their weddings. I want them to feel at ease going into their big day, knowing that someone who cares just as much as they do is going to ensure it is executed perfectly. I cannot wait to team up with you on your next event or your wedding!

Whitford Weddings
& EVENTS
Whitford Weddings & Events was born from my personal experience as a bride. During the process of planning my own wedding, I discovered how much I loved every aspect of it. From researching and booking venues and vendors, to creating checklists and schedules, and picking the perfect flowers and decor, I thrived on both the organizational and creative sides of wedding planning.

I understand firsthand how overwhelming the months and weeks leading up to your wedding can feel. There are final decisions to make, spreadsheets to create and send in, vendors to manage and communicate with, a wedding day timeline to create and manage, and so much more. By working with a wedding coordinator, you can take all of those tasks, and the stress attached to them off your plate.
